Entergy Distribution Operations Center
In an effort to consolidate several remote DOC’s into one facility, Entergy selected and renovated a central location large enough to house the entire group. A large 24 seat control room was designed with several user based facilities encircling the room to lessen the time operators were away from their consoles. Administrative spaces feature bright colors and custom furniture. Glazing was spread throughout the interior spaces to bring in natural light. The control room features several lighting control levels at the ceiling, work areas, and the console stations for ultimate adaptability. Conference rooms/areas with the latest technology are located throughout the facility.
