A joint venture between CWA and Barron Toups Architects, this project is a 64,400 SF (5,980 SM), four-story, biomedical facility. Laboratory areas include chemistry, organic, inorganic, trace metals, radiation, volatile organics, biochemistry, general biochemistry, virology, HIV, tissue culture, molecular biology, immunology, necropsy, rabies, hepatitis, hematology, flow cytrometry, microbiology, TB/Mycology, bacteriology, water, and shellfish labs. Laboratory features include biosafety level 2 and 3 areas, central gas distribution systems, autoclave rooms, walk-in incubators, and a central glasswash area.
